Durham Co-op Market is community-owned and community-focused. They want to give back to the community by supporting local farms, selling locally made products, and supporting local jobs.
The Café is open every day and has a good range of vegan options as standard, including three vegan sandwiches. Every Monday the Hot Bar has a Meatless Mondays theme between 4pm and 8pm, where everything on offer is vegan. On other days, you will find one vegan option on the Hot Bar as well as many other menu options. They even serve vegan cream cheese for your bagels!
