De La Vega Restaurante y Galeria serves vibrant Latin fare, blending rich flavors and textures from ancient Aztec and Mayan foods whilst paying homage to the authentic dishes eaten in Mexico and surrounding countries. Their focus is on using fresh, sustainable ingredients.
They have a separate vegan menu and clearly mark their gluten-free options. The vegan dishes include Plantain Enmoladas (plantains and refried beans wrapped in corn tortillas and covered in a rich mole sauce), Vegan Aspirinas (their famous corn dough patties topped with beans, tomato and onion) and Avocados Vegetarianos (avocados filled with red, black and garbanzo bean salad with a mango vinaigrette).
Inside the restaurant, there is a gallery featuring the work of local artists and photographers.
