Luna opened in Durham in 2009 and describes its cuisine as 'South American meets American South'. As the slogan suggests, Luna is not a vegan restaurant (there is a lot of meat on the menu), but it does offer vegan options which are clearly marked.
The vegan Small Plates and Sides are referenced by a V+ on the menu and there is also a Vegan Chilli-Braised Jackfruit Grain Bowl. It's also worth asking if any of the vegetarian Empanada options can be made vegan.
