Kahumana Organic Farm & Café is part of a not-for-profit social enterprise that works with homeless families by offering vocational training in culinary arts, runs a day program for people with disabilities and educates the youth about organic farming practices. On top of this, they provide healthy organic food to the local community.
They don't have a set menu but create specials based on what is available from the daily harvest, which includes vegan options. They offer the freshest salads on Oahu with 10 varieties of baby greens picked every morning at dawn. These can be served with herbal hummus and small batch vinaigrette.
Their specials have included curries, stir-fried veggies and tofu and artisan pesto pasta. They also offer daily soups, kombucha, teas and coffees.
