The Foxes Boxes

"The Foxes Boxes is not “just” a restaurant—it’s a social enterprise working with marginalized populations to provide on-the-job training that incorporates leadership development, relationship building, and strong interpersonal communication skills, generating a valuable workforce for the hospitality and service industry in our region. After participating in the “externship” program, employees will have the skills necessary to transition into permanent positions in the community."

The Foxes Boxes menu is quirky and fun and offers a variety of seasonal options and baked goods with ingredients from fresh, local farms and urban gardens. Nothing on the menu is fried.

There is a Vegan Dish up for grabs every day as a Daily Special, and the Falafel protein option looks likely to be vegan also. You create your own 'box' by selecting a protein and combining it with a side. You can then choose to 'Add an extra' to bulk up your box (it's here you'll find the vegan daily special, as well as other likely vegan-friendly choices).
