Melt Bar and Grilled situated in Cedar Point, Sandusky, is one of a chain of restaurants that serve American comfort food with a tasty twist.

Although a meat-serving eatery, there are plenty of vegan alternatives to choose from and are clearly marked as 'VG' on the menu.

From the starters and snacks menu, the options include Pierogi (dumplings) and tofu 'wings' with a vegan ranch dressing. On the soups menu there is a four bean chili soup and on the salad menu, a house salad or a noodle salad that can both be customized by adding vegan-friendly toppings and dressings. The grilled cheese sandwich menu also offers a number of tasty vegan alternatives and all sandwiches are served with fries, kettle chips or a side dish.
