Outer Bean is a coffee shop, juice and smoothie bar and café in Kitty Hawk, where you can enjoy a variety of choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Eat in or take out, Outer Bean serves organic free trade coffee, freshly-made juice and a selection of smoothies any time of day. Outer Bean offers vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free food and aims to stay GMO-free. They buy bulk ingredients, make all sauces and stocks from scratch, and only use local, fresh bread. Outer Beans also serves beer and wine, with many wine choices at under $5 per glass.
Vegan options on the menu are clearly marked and there is a great selection to choose from. Order a Vegan Turkish Breakfast or Vegan Sandwich to start your day, and a Vegan Salad, Panini or Wrap later on. It's also worth checking with your server when you order, as it looks as though some of the other dishes may be vegan-friendly as well...
