I used to LOVE this place when I ate seafood. Going back as a vegan was disappointing. :'( I walked in, and there was no one in line. I ordered a build your own bowl with white rice and tofu, but they were out of tofu so I had to wait while they made more. No biggie. As I started ordering my veggies, a large group came in and I felt rushed. By the time I got to the toppings, I was frustrated because I didn't know which ones were vegan (I didn't see any labels.), and I didn't want to sit there and ask if that or that or that was vegan. Labels would've been super helpful. The associate gave me 2 containers of sauces to take home with my meal- ponzu & I can't remember the name of the other. They were both good though. I had to tell each associate that I was waiting on tofu, which was annoying because they were in such a hurry to bag up my meal and get me out of the line. I paid for my meal while still waiting on the tofu. When the tofu finally arrived, I was kinda disappointed in the amount given considering you're allowed to choose up to 3 proteins for your bowl. Since you're only offering 1 vegan protein, you should at least double or triple the amount served. I paid $10 for a really lacking meal. It tasted fine. Everything was fresh. The associate who started my order even offered to change their gloves, which was a kind gesture. I politely declined because it's not a big deal to me & I view it as a waste of plastic. I probably won't be back, unless I receive some tips on how to order from here as a vegan because I wasn't impressed.
