Guru is an omni Indian restaurant in Fredericksburg. Vegan highlights include Baingan Bharta (baked and mashed eggplant cooked with onions, tomatoes and fine herbs) Bhindi Masala (fresh Okra sautéed with onions, peppers and tomatoes sprinkled with mango powder and a blend of spices) and Chana Masala (a delicious chick-pea curry cooked in a special blend of Punjabi spices). Note that vegan items are not labeled on the menu, so be sure to request vegan when placing your order. There is a daily lunch buffet from 11.30am-2.30pm (Monday-Friday) and 11.30am-3pm (Saturday-Sunday).
