TAKE NOTE: Phone ahead to book if dining with a large group (six or more.)
Guadalupe Café is a tiny farm-to-table restaurant in downtown Sylva that serves tropical fusion food for dinner daily and brunch and dinner on weekends.
They also offer organic house-made desserts (including vegan Carrot Cake!), fair-trade espresso drinks prepared with Tribal Grounds coffee, microbrews and local beers on draft, and a quirky Latin wine list.
Vegan options are not marked on the menu so it's worth double checking with your server before ordering, but options like the Ginger Noodle Bowl, Curry Bowl and the Sesame and Gado-Gado Salads look to be totally plant-based. You can also create your own Garden Bowl, with tofu as your protein choice and Ginger Sesame, Thai Peanut or Tahini dressing. If ordered without the dairy cheese, the Blackened Plantains are also likely to be vegan.
(can vary during public holidays)
