India Palace Bar and Grill is an omni Indian restaurant in Chesapeake. Vegan dishes include Baingan Bhartha (eggplant broiled and roasted over charcoal, peeled, mashed and sautéed, served with chopped onions and fresh tomatoes), Dal Makhani (creamy whole black lentil and urad dal, slowly cooked with garlic, ginger, tomatoes and spices) and Aloo Gobi (cauliflower and potato wedges in a light blend of spices). Note that vegan items are not labeled on the menu, so be sure to request vegan when placing your order.
