Udupi Palace Restaurant is a vegetarian South Indian restaurant in Chicago. Vegan dishes include the rasa vada (two lentil donuts dipped in rasam), soya aloo (tender pieces of soya, potatoes cooked in fresh onions, tomatoes and chilies, simmered in rich masala sauce) and the vegetable korma (garden fresh vegetables cooked in spices and coconut milk). Note that vegan items are not labeled on the menu, so be sure to request vegan when placing your order.
