Himalayan Kitchen is an omni Indian restaurant in Durango with vegan items labelled on the menu. Delicious vegan entrées include the aloo govi tarkaari (cauliflower and potato cooked Nepalese style with tomato, onion, dry chili, turmeric and twelve different seeds) and the baigoon bharta (chopped eggplant cooked with onion, tomato, ginger, garlic, and cumin, seasoned with spring onion and cilantro). There is a daily all-you-can-eat lunch buffet.
