The Green Temple is an organic vegetarian restaurant with a peaceful and harmonious environment, and serving lunch and dinner (and breakfast on Sundays). They source much of their produce from local farms and 85% of their ingredients are organic. They have a focus on sustainability and use fully biodegradable takeout containers by Eco Products, bake in glass or ceramic pans, cook with filtered water, and use biodegradable dishwashing liquids.
They clearly mark their vegan, gluten and soy-free options on their menu, and you can ask for Daiya cheese substitution on dishes containing cheese. Vegan dishes include garden quesadillas, spinach and almond salad, heart soup, hummus wraps, tofu or tempeh steamers, tostaditas, enchiladas and tacos. They also serve a variety of freshly squeezed juices, herbal shots, cold and hot drinks.
