Cafe Romanat is a family owned restaurant serving authentic Ethiopian cuisine for dinner and lunch on weekends.
They have a separate vegan section on their menu, which includes misir wot (red lentil stew), gomen (traditional braised collards greens), mushroom tibs, atalkit (cabbage, carrots and potatoes sautéed in onions, ginger, garlic and turmeric) and kik alicha (split peas simmered in turmeric sauce). All dishes are served with enjera flatbread, side salad and buticha (chickpeas, garlic, onion, jalapeño and olive oil). Gluten-free enjera is also available.
