The Farmer & The Chickpea is a self-serve restaurant located on US-22 eastbound. The menu changes seasonally but there are always vegan and gluten-free options available. These have included white-bean "meatballs", falafel burger, vegan hash made of purple potatoes, brussel sprouts, and onions, or stuffed cabbage filled with a quinoa, walnut, sage, and cauliflower rice mix. Sweet treats like vegan truffles or coconut macaroons are available for dessert.
The Farmer & The Chickpea is more geared toward take-out but a few tables are available for you to eat in, too.
