The café-restaurant Nan has a mission: Bringing together refugees and the local community by creating an open space for cultural and culinary exchange. The non-profit restaurant also values environmentally friendly solutions which is why all their tables have been made from discarded pallets by refugees, all other furniture is second hand and the principles of reusing, recycling and not wasting any food are practiced here. The Mediterranean and middle eastern meals served at Nan range from salads with quinoa and mushrooms, wraps with falafel to hummus and rice with vegetables. There is also a buffet waiting for those who can't decide which meal to order.
