Vegan Hills is a restaurant offering gourmet vegan dining at breakfast, brunch and lunch. Their philosophy promotes health, vitality, and well being for the mind, body, spirit and environment. They also have a focus on vegan cooking methods developed in religious traditions, including Ayurveda, Yoga diet, Macrobiotics, Zen “Shojin Ryôri” temple recipes, Buddhist vegetarian cooking, and Daoist oriental medicine. They offer many gluten-free and raw options and avoid all onions and garlic.
For breakfast you can choose from the Good Morning Plate that consists of scrambled tofu, tempeh bacon, mixed greens, roast potato and bread; a Zen Breakfast containing brown rice, tofu scramble, hijiki, sautéed bok choy, carrot, greens and nori soup; and a Blissful Bowl with soy yogurt, granola, vegan honey, strawberries and bananas.
Lunch includes various rice and noodle bowls, soups and salads as well as sandwiches including an avocado tempeh melt, vegan lox and VLT. Brunch is served on Saturdays and includes pancakes, fruits, corn cakes, chili beans, nachos and tofu scramble.
