Frida's

Frida's Deli is a vegetarian eatery in University City that serves fresh, high-quality cuisine using ingredients that are sourced locally and sustainably. They do not use butter or sugar in any of their dishes and they do not fry or microwave any meals served.

Although not strictly a vegan establishment, they do offer plenty of vegan-friendly dishes that are marked clearly with a 'V' on the menu.

These options range from a choice of small plates (for example, spring rolls and chili ginger edamame beans), salads, sandwiches, wraps, and burgers, to a selection of larger meals such as enchiladas, customizable pizzas, and a variety of side dishes that include a choice of vegan cheeses, a seitan steak and a gluten free wrap. The dessert menu offers a chocolate avocado moose, a berry parfait, and a chocolate ganache.

The drinks menu has a selection of smoothies, juices, sodas, iced tea, kombucha, and a variety of beers, wine, and sangria.

A takeaway service is provided as well as catering for private parties and functions.
