The Lansdowne pub always caters very well for vegans. The menu changes but suitable options have included pizza topped with vegan cheese (usually stocked), sweet chilli, mushroom, beer battered courgette & aubergine stack (pictured below), falafel & hummus sandwich, vegetable katsu curry and red Thai curry & coconut rice. The homemade chips are vegan but the onion rings are fried in the same oil as fish. On Sundays a vegan roast is available, with all the works, except Yorkshire puddings. The bar staff are aware of which beers are suitable for vegans.
