The Globe

We called into The Globe as we're fairly new Vegans and wanted try out the nearest Vegan pub. My wife and I found the service to be prompt and very friendly. We were impressed with the relaxed atmosphere. The menu was clear, though perhaps one too many curries for our liking. My wife has a yeast allergy and we discovered that there is yeast in all but one dish (which had red wine - which contains yeast). So she ordered chips and mayonnaise. I would recommend this pub to individuals and families, as the prices were very reasonable. I do feel that the menu could have a little more variation, given the wide variety of vegan dishes now available on the internet, cookbooks, etc.
