The Steeping Room, Century Oaks Terrace

The Steeping Room on Century Oaks Terrace is one of two tearooms in Austin that serves delicious food and specialty teas. The other location is on Lamar Boulevard in Austin.

Although a meat-serving establishment, they do offer plenty of vegan-friendly dishes that are marked clearly on the menu. A few of these options include a tofu scramble and organic oatmeal from the breakfast and Sunday brunch menu, and from the lunch and dinner menu, a soup of the day, a variety of hot bowls including a Buddha bowl and a smokey quinoa and greens bowl, a selection of salads, and a choice of sandwiches such as a Tofu Báhn Mi and a tofu and tempeh bacon club sandwich. They also offer a choice of tasty sweet treats including cookies, cupcakes, and scones. Gluten-free options are available throughout the menu and a kids menu is provided.

The drinks menu has a wide variety of specialty teas, coffees, and sodas.

Private parties, functions, and special events can be catered for.
