Veg On The Edge is a fast casual restaurant serving vegan, gluten-free and mostly organic food with West African influences. They are open for breakfast (on weekends), lunch and dinner.
The dishes that are West African influenced are marked on the menu, as well as those that a mild or hot in spice. Dishes include shiitake black rice with tempeh, crimini stew with tofu, quinoa and roasted veggies, spicy suya burger with cashew cheese, plantain fries, sweet potato peanut soup, raw plantain salad, date and oat squares and coconut bean pudding. They also serve a small selection of juices and smoothies.
Weekend breakfast may include plantain waffles, nutty granola, a tofu scramble wrap, sweet potato hash or moin moin.
