FRIEDA is a friendly community cafe that offers a relaxing space to sit down and enjoy food & drink, meet new people and learn new things in the heart of Philadelphia. The menu is mainly meat-based but does include vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options, all clearly labelled on the menu. Every dish is made to order using fresh ingredients. The cafe produces a range of breakfast items, baked goods, soups, wraps, sandwiches and salads as well as hot and cold drinks. They employ people aged between 18-80 and pay a fair wage to ensure generations can work and connect together at the venue. They also run a variety of community classes, ranging from language and life drawing classes to film screenings and bridge games. They have plenty of seating available in a modern, light-filled space but also offer a takeaway service.
