Adda Coffee & Tea House is a café in the Shadyside area specializing in coffee, tea and light snacks and lunches. The menu is all vegetarian with most items also vegan, from the vegan muffins to the vegan and gluten-free biriyani rice bowl.
The word Adda is Bengali and means to “indulge in informal or friendly conversation with a group of people”, and it also refers to the place where this conversation takes place. That is the aim of Adda Coffee & Tea House – to be a warm, welcoming place for all to come relax, work and have conversation. It is possible to book a work table (via the website) without fee.
High Tea is served on the 2nd and 4th weekend of every month and is accompanied by an assortment of pastries and other tea sandwiches and snacks.
