Sunnyside Up Cafe & Farm Shop

Sunnyside Up Cafe & Farm Shop is tucked away from the main road and is run by adults with learning disabilities. You are greeted with a cheery hello and the atmosphere is very friendly. The seating area is quirkily decorated with coffee sacks from the Local Smiths Coffee factory five minutes along the canal, who also supply the excellent organic coffee. The cafe is dog friendly with all dogs getting a treat. There is an outside seating area and it's all set away from the busy road, next to the canal with trees and sunshine if you're lucky! It's a lovely hidden secret where you can watch the other employees getting on with attending to the thousands of plants that are in the huge greenhouses.

They grow as many of their ingredients as possible, and anything bought in is organic. They offer vegan options and always have gluten-free cake. Vegan options may include cheese toasties, cheese sandwiches, a hummus and pumpkin falafel wrap, soup and cakes. They also offer vegan milks for hot drinks.
