Bandidas Taqueria serves handmade, Mexican-inspired vegetarian food in the heart of East Vancouver. Most items are gluten-free or can be easily substituted to be. Breakfasts and brunches can be made vegan by replacing the eggs with butternut squash and tofu scramble, and the dairy with Daiya cheese and house-made soy "sour cream." There are vegan options available for appetizers, entrées, tacos and burritos, and desserts. Bandidas Taqueria also has a food truck, serving various spots in the local area.
