The Nut & Squirrel

I have only been here once, where we ordered starters and main courses. We were made to wait for 45 minutes in a near-empty pub for food that was cold upon arrival. When raising this issue with one of the staff, she told us that there was a big group of people they had to serve first, despite the fact they had walked in long after we’d sat down. After the manager came out, he offered us drinks as an apology, then went to do just that and subsequently disappeared, leaving us waiting once again. I wish I could say this was a nice pub, or that I enjoyed myself, but the food wasn’t cooked and the service was appalling.
