Arjuna Wholefoods

Arjuna Wholefoods is a long-standing vegetarian whole foods shop that stocks organic and locally sourced produce, vegan groceries, ethical toiletries and much more. It is a workers' co-operative so it is fully owned and run by members. They are a socially concerned business and they donate a percentage of their profits and goods to local charities and community groups.

They also have a chiller filled with all-vegan meals to takeaway. Everything is healthy, locally sourced and organic (with gluten-free options), and the packaging is 100% biodegradable. Dishes have included sweet potato, pumpkin, kale and hummus salad, sausage and bulgur wheat stew, pizzas, and tofu scotch eggs. They have a couple of seats outside or, if the sun is shining, you can enjoy your meal at local park, Parker's Piece.
