The Battleaxes is a beautiful, cosy family pub with a garden and B&B guest rooms. They serve home cooked food using local produce (for lunch and dinner) and a selection of ever changing real ales. Children and dogs are welcome. They have separate gluten-free and vegan menus. Their vegan menu includes Teriyaki tofu stir-fry, BBQ jackfruit and mixed bean burgers, parsley polenta fritters with veganaise aioli, and apple and berry strudel.
