Sacred Grounds

My daughter and I popped in for lunch and were delighted with the food and knowledgeable staff. As there was some unusual items on the menu we decided to share 2 meals. Although not marked on the menu, the dahl soup was gluten free and they offered to swap the bread for gluten free waffles. The soup was delicious, lots of delicate flavours. The savoury waffles were equally as good. The smoky flavours of the tofu and sauce were nicely balanced withe squash and corn. The waffles were really good. We didn't have them but the sandwiches looked as good as they sounded. We had hoped to try the sweet waffles but we're too full! Just means we have to visit again.
