Birkacre

I have been going to the new Cafe at Birkacre Garden Centre since it opened earlier this year. On my first visit I saw they did a vegetarian breakfast and discussed a vegan breakfast with the chef. The sausages were vegetarian, so he swapied out this for the Vegan burger and I suggested avocado instead of a fried egg. Everything else on the plate was vegan as they had d/f spread. Since then, he changed the vegetarian breakfast sausage to a vegan one. I order the vegan breakfast with avocado every time. Coffee comes with soy milk. Today, I had the Veggie (vegan) burger with chips, salad and vegan mayo. Also a soy latte and one of several vegan cakes (homemade at the cafe). This is a very popular cafe, with lots of space, in a lovely garden centre setting. It's reasonably priced and there are very good Vegan options with a dedicated vegan menu. I recommend a visit.
