The Kew Greenhouse Café was built in 1895 and was the village bakery for many years. The original ovens and furnaces are still preserved. These days, the café continues to make its own bread and pastries, but there are also hot meals on offer, including vegetarian and vegan ones. Vegan dishes include a pie, a celery and walnut roast and a courgette and onion flan. There is also an extensive drinks menu, including coffee, tea, beer, wine and spirits.
