Located in the heart of the NC High Country, Coyote Kitchen specializes in Southwest Caribbean Soulfood and offers a variety of food to please all.
With vegan options on their menu as standard, Coyote Kitchen also goes the extra mile and states that they 'can modify most menu items to fit any dietary need'. The extensive and great-sounding menu consists of Starters & Sides, Burgers & Sandwiches, Bowls, Boats, Burritos, Tacos, Salads and a children's menu called 'Pups'. Choose from popular vegan dishes like the Gabriella Burrito (rice, black beans, blackened tofu, sweet red vegan nayo, sweet potatoes, roasted sweet corn, roasted red peppers, and zucchini and squash) or the Sedona Bowl (blackened tempeh, coconut rice, black beans, sautéed spinach, fried sweet potatoes, corn, caramelized onions, roasted red peppers, sweet red vegan mayo and scallions) or request that a non-vegan option a be made plant-based with tofu or tempeh. (Coyote Kitchen also has a dedicated vegan fryer.)
Family-owned and friendly, this restaurant is a great choice for vegans. The huge variety of food makes it the perfect option when dining out with a mixed group, and they clearly care about the needs (and feelings) of their plant-based customers .
